Q: What is the best way to submit my application materials?

A: Scan and email the application to msghr@clanet.org.; Mail the application to our office at 1414 MacArthur Rd. Madison, WI 53714; Fax the application to (608) 240-7060; Drop the application off at the CLA campus during normal business hours, (M - F 8:30 am -4:30 pm).

Q: How will I know whether my application materials were received?

A: Contact Human Resources at msghr@clanet.org to verify the receipt of your application materials.

Q: How do I contact the hiring manager who is handling the position for which I applied?

A: Contact Human Resources at msghr@clanet.org with any questions regarding the position. Be sure to include the title of the position you are applying for.  Messages will be forwarded to the appropriate staff.

Q: Can I just send in my resume in lieu of an application?

A: Resumes should be submitted only if requested in the job posting. The preferred method to apply for any position with Community Living Alliance is to submit an application for employment. 

Q: If I am not selected for the position for which I applied, will I automatically be a candidate for future positions that fit my qualifications?

A: Resumes are kept on file for one year. However, to ensure candidacy for future positions, applicants must re-apply for each specific position.  Check back frequently for updates to current opportunities available. 

Q: How long do you keep my application materials on file?

A: Application materials remain on file for one year.

Q: How do I find out what the salary range is for the position in which I am interested?

A: CLA does not publish salary information in advertisements and online job postings. Applicants may contact Human Resources at msghr@clanet.org for this information. Be sure to include the position title you are inquiring about.
